9.8 hp Mercury 110 1970's motor 2 stroke fwd/rev gears (San Marcos

Hi there, This 9.8 Horsepower motor long shaft is for sale. Does it run? It starts with starter fluid (carefully, with oil in cylinder only of course), and it ran strong for me for five trips out, then after sitting for a month, it won't stay going. I don't have the patience or knowledge of outboards to fix this, so I think I'd like to sell or trade for a smaller running motor from someone who does. Compression= 120psi on both cylinders, good spark, pees fine.Is it titled? The previous owner never did it after buying it from his mechanic, but the serial number does come up clean with Texas Parks and Wildlife, so you can do it with a statement of fact that it has been abandoned for seven years or more, or so the girl at the counter told me. I chose not to register it at that time, then it stopped running for me.All offers considered.
